Statement
How we build
We use AI tools to build our apps. Here is how we work, what we check and who is responsible.

Development
We use AI tools for programming, translation and other development work. oomny remains responsible for the apps and the decisions about what ships.
Checks and testing
We use automated checks and tests on devices to find problems in behaviour, accessibility and translations. These checks help us improve the apps; they cannot catch every error. Reports from people using the apps help us identify and fix problems.
AI and data processing in each app
Using AI to develop an app does not tell you whether the app itself uses AI or sends data to a server. Those details differ by product and platform. Each app explains its own use of AI on its product website’s support page. The privacy policy describes data handling.
Some products use on-device recognition or language models. Some include images, voices, music or effects created with AI tools in advance. Others do not use AI at runtime. For example, Rookaby includes synthetic voices and generated artwork and effects, and the avatars you can pick in Palavo are generated illustrations, and so are the small drawings on Counthall's empty screens. These are product-specific disclosures, not a claim that every app works the same way.
Website illustrations
The decorative letter-tile images on Palavo’s website and the craft and community illustrations on Tondo’s website were generated with AI. They are illustrations, not screenshots, customer work or photographs of real community members. The phone screens show the apps.
Responsibility and support
oomny is responsible for the result. A person answers support requests. If something is wrong or unclear, contact support@oomny.eu and tell us which app and version you use. We assess the report and explain what we can do.
Changes
16 September 2026: shortened the explanation and separated development tools from product-specific AI and data processing. Product details are updated when the relevant features change.
